The cake is an important part of your wedding celebration and we go to great lengths to ensure that we fully understand what you require. This may be:

  • tiers of the cake being composed of fruit cake and different flavours of sponge cake
  • decoration with hand crafted sugarpaste flowers
  • cakes created to your own individual theme
  • individual gift cakes

We consult with you during the creation of the cake to ensure that we have interpreted your wishes correctly. We will set up your cake at your reception venue free of charge within a 20 mile radius, for greater distances an appropriate charge may apply.

The cutting of the wedding cake is not done just to signify the end of the wedding formalities. At one time, the wedding cake was cut only by the bride, and was symbolic of her upcoming loss of virginity. But today, this tradition includes the groom as well, and cutting the cake and sharing the first bite with each other,  symbolizes that the wedded couple promises to share a whole new life together.
